Who are the Artists
Collectives made up of extended families craft the statues, with skills passed down from craftsman to apprentice. Their temples are the focal point of the community inspiring the artists with their iconography.
From learning the art of design to the casting of the metal, to the hand finishing of the statues, the craftsmen develop their skills as a group.
